Community Schools
Community Schools offers a variety of services, including enrichment classes and before and after school childcare, which also includes PLC Late Start daycare and "no school" daycare. Community School programs are fee based, licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and promote the following goals:
Hi my name is Gina Sanchez. I am so excited to be a part of the Erie Elementary team in my position as Site Program Manager of Community Schools, and Child Care Director. I have been a child care Director for Tigger time since 2005. I am an Erie Native. I attended elementary right here at Erie Elementary, then went across the street to what was then Erie Jr./Sr. High school. I graduated in 1993. I am the proud mother of four wonderful Boys, Matthew, Elijah, Zachary, and Noah . I have been involved in child care in some capacity since the summer of my Junior year in High School. Late Start Activity -Nov 7- Madagascar 3 - Fun filled movie morning for the late start day.
Totally Toyriffic - Science Matters - Science and toys, Wednesdays through Dec 5th.
Spa Girls - We will be going over and learning new hair styles, mani/pedi’s, skin care. Tues and Fri mornings through November.
Running Club - With Mrs. Travis, Wednesdays for the month of November.
No School Day Activity - Anderson Farms and a movie - No School Day October 12, 2012, kids will be meeting at Red Hawk Elementary.
Character Club - Come join us for our Creature Comforts Session where we’ll put character into action! Kids will do fun activities and service projects to see how many little hands working together can make a BIG difference in helping our furry little friends.
Cereal Bowl - Come to the Pottery Perfection paint your own pottery class to create your very own Cereal Bowl. Tuesday Sept 18th
Coco the Monkey - Guided by a professional artist you will create your very own masterpiece. One day class Sept 25th
Way out Water - Come learn all about the world's most
important molecule, H2O, better known as . . . WATER. Use your engineering skills and put water to work. Deadline to register is Sept 14th
There is a 36 child maximum – register early! Class begins Wednesday Sept 19th
Scrapbooking Our School Year - Two sessions: Sept - Dec & Jan - May. Create a scrapbook of memories for the 2012-13 School year.
